TERI DARRENOUGUE began court reporting in 1980. Teri has written articles on realtime reporting for several publications and given countless presentations.
Participating in state, national and international real-time contests, Teri finished in the top ten in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Teri finished in 4th place in the Literary Section of the 2010 National Court Reporters Association Realtime Competition. A speed contest finalist, Teri was one of only nine reporters in the nation to pass the very first Certified Realtime Reporter examination in 1992, and she holds the highest professional credentials and certifications.
Teri has served as secretary, vice president, and president of the Bay Area General Reporters Association and for five years has assisted in conducting the NCRA Certified Realtime Reporter examination.
In addition, Teri is a member of the Deposition Reporters Association, and the National Court Reporters Association.
Teri has provided CART services at SHHH (Self-Helf for Hard of Hearing) and ALDAcon national conventions, and Teri was the pro bono CART provider for the Diablo Valley Chapter meetings of HLAA (Hearing Loss Association of America) for ten years.
Teri is member of the National Court Reporters Association and Deposition Reporters Association of California.

LAURA BREWER is semi-retired and has moved to the Sierra Nevada foothills. She is doing select work as time permits and volunteers her time working on NCRA and California testing committees that will help ensure that high-quality standards are upheld in our profession.
